Handmade is       made!

Walk-in creators are welcome during our open hours. There are too many choices for us to show all of them here. In general, you can paint canvas, ceramic, or wood, and make other stuff.
It's fun. Come give it a try.

Upcoming Kids' Paint & Sips

This is a drop-off, step-by-step painting class in which we complete the pictures below. Youngsters age 5-12 are welcome

We serve a snack and sparkling juice drinks in wine glasses.

This is perfect for kids that can't make it to camp but want some time to be creative.

AfterSchool Creators Registration!

Ages 5+

Every Tuesday Afternoon from 4:30 pm to 6 pm we CREATE.

What do we create? All kinds of things. Sometimes this is creator driven and sometimes we have plans for them. When we plan it, we introduce them to an artist of old or new, and we make our own creation based on the artist's inspiration.

Save money with our extended package. Of course you can pay as you go, but we need 24 hours notice for planned attendance.

We would love to extend the program to include more days. If you feel you can commit to more than just Tuesdays. Let us know so we can talk about it!

Are you looking for something for your
Tween or Teen to do?

Ages 12-17

We have ideas. A few are suggested below. Email or call to talk about what you are looking for.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

Many schools want their students to do community service hours, or you just want them out of the house and volunteering. If they want a chill space to do those hours in, they can come talk to Stacey about it. First they should check with their school and make sure this will be an approved location. We know that for SOA, it applies to their "choice hours." We do not know about other schools. We have tasks students can help with like restocking shelves, rearranging supplies, cleaning, helping at the afterschool program, starting projects used for displays, setting up our splatter and glass rooms, and more.

Talk to us about reserving time for your teen group to gather here and engage in a creative project or hold a meeting. Pricing is different based on the size of the group, what you are doing, and if food is involved.

GROUP GATHERINGS

Do you have a different idea for teens and tweens to do here at Craft & Canvas? Talk to us.

We are always open to community ideas and needs.

Looking for a way to express your creativity and connect with others? Look no further than our two favored activities: Paint Your Pet and Crimes & Crafts Book Club!

Both are held every other month. Paint Your Pet is on the 3rd Thursday of the month

and Crimes & Crafts is on the last Wednesday of the month.

The next scheduled events are Paint Your Pet:  January 16, 2024

and Crimes & Crafts: January 29, 2024

Crochet Club

Every year we try something new to see if it is what the community wants, evidenced by people attending the classes. We have yet to find "that thing." But we try.

This year we are trying this:

For the experienced crocheters (knitters can join, too).

From 12- 3 pm on the third Sunday of the month, you can come together at Craft & Canvas to crochet and chat. Stacey will be here and available to assist with crochet stitches and pattern reading as needed (she does not knit). Beginner crochet class runs from 2 - 3:30 pm on this same day. Share your enthusiasm for this skill that is passed from generation to generation.

Make new friends and keep them by coming back each month.

There is a small fee of $5 per hour per person paid in person at Craft & Canvas. No registration needed.
